Versatile actress and writer Jennifer Carta grew up in Connecticut. She trained at Circle In The Square under Alan Langdon before heading off to work as an Acting Apprentice at the prestigious Actors Theatre of Louisville. She went from Louisville to New York City, landing roles in off-Broadway and Broadway shows.
Her Broadway debut came in the Tony Award winning play, SIDE MAN. She continued her Broadway stretch, touring for a year, understudying the two female leads in the Broadway National Tour of PROOF. Once the tour finished, Jennifer joined the Broadway Company, where she played the role of Catherine to standing ovations.
Jennifer has continued to work in television and film in Los Angeles. You, or your children may recognize her from her three year stint on VICTORIOUS (Nickelodeon) playing "Mom" to Victoria Justice and Daniella Monet.
Jennifer has also written two screenplays, with one in development. She is in the process of adapting one into a TV Series. She has also just finished her third screenplay called TALKING OUT LOUD.
Jennifer lives in Los Angeles with her actor husband Jeffrey Nicholas Brown, currently playing "Dad" on HENRY DANGER (Nickelodeon) and their 7 year old son, Oliver.
